About the Old Hayloft


Raylees Farm is reputed to have been built in 1832 as a coaching inn. The Old Hayloft was converted in 2011 from what is understood to have been the inn’s stable and hayloft

Downstairs double doors open directly into an open plan living/eating/cooking area with a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, oven and induction hob. The bathroom with electric shower over the bath and underfloor heating is accessed directly from the main living area. Comlimentary toiletries are provided

The lounge area has a TV with sky freeview and a DVD player. There is also a range of books and information about the natural history of the area. There is also information on local attractions and places to vists to help you make the most of your visit.

The two bedrooms upstairs are simply but tastefully furnished. The main bedroom is provided with a kingsize bed and large walk in wardrobe. Children will love the smaller bedroom furnished with its bunkbed and wardrobe with a drawer full of children’s books and games. All linen including duvet covers, sheets, pillow cases and towels are provided. We are also able to provide most items that families might require including cot and cot linen, highchair, stair gates and baby bath.

Outside guests can enjoy the views from their own walled patio area with table, chairs and barbecue (fuel not provided). The cottage also has its own parking immediately next to the cottage. There is also a lockable bike store/drying room for guests exclusive use.
